Makita has further extended its already comprehensive mitre and table saw range with the launch of an entry-level 255mm mitre saw.
The new Makita MLS100 will have a list price of just 155.00, yet a full inventory of high quality features. Cutting performance of this easily portable Makita mitre saw is second to none with a 3 inch maximum depth of cut across a 5 inch plank at 900, and 2 inch maximum depth of cut on maximum 450 left bevel angle.
The MLS100 has full mitre angle capacity of 450 left and right, and at 900 will still cut 3 inches across a 3.5 inch timber and on 450 left bevel will also still cut 2 inches deep across the same size stock.
Powered by a 1500 watt motor the MLS100 has a no-load blade speed maximum of 4,200rpm and is delivered complete with dust-bag, to match the extraction connection, extendable table holders, vertical fence vice, triangular rule and blade spanner.
